Ronald C. Pryzgoda, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at Calvary Hospital. He was 72 years old. He was born on April 7, 1944 to Leonard and Pearl Winstanley Pryzgoda in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Saunders Trade and Technical High School. Mr. Pryzgoda was an electrician through Local 3 in White Plains for forty years until his retirement in 2004. He was a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Ronald C. Pryzgoda, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at Calvary Hospital. He was 72 years old. He was born on April 7, 1944 to Leonard and Pearl Winstanley Pryzgoda in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Saunders Trade and Technical High School. Mr. Pryzgoda was an electrician through Local 3 in White Plains for forty years until his retirement in 2004. He was a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. Pryzgoda was a member of the Catholic Slovak Club, the VFW Empire Post #375 and the Charles Bajart American Legion Post. He enjoyed fishing and going to the pistol range at Coyne Park on McLean Ave. On April 20, 1967, he married his loving wife Patricia Brown in Christ the King Church. Mrs. Pryzgoda died on February 3, 1992. Survivors include two sons, Dennis Pryzgoda and his wife, Catherine of Cocoa Beach, FL and David Pryzgoda and his wife, Dena of Mohegan Lake, a daughter, Allison Pryzgoda of Yonkers, and two sisters, Judith Skelton of Dunedin, FL and Leonora Dahl of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Amanda, Aidan, Nolan, David Jr. and Alexandria. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Honora Hartshorn and a sister, Barbara Maniscalco. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 2-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday December 6th at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
